\r\nOn July 17, exactly 50 years following her original appearance, Dynamite is launching a new Vampirella title. The series is written by Christopher Priest, a 40-year veteran of the comics industry. As the first African-American editor in mainstream comics, he shepherded Spider-Man through an innovative 1980\\\'s period. Priest has written a near endless list of classic comics from Deadpool and Captain America, to Green Lantern and Conan the Barbarian. A run on Black Panther influenced almost every frame of the Academy Award-winning, $1 billion-grossing film. In addition to Vampirella, Priest continues to write Deathstroke for DC Comics, a character that has appeared on television and on film. Joining Priest is Ergün Gündüz, an experienced Turkish artist making his American debut.\r\n

\r\nThe first issue features multiple alternate covers from the top artists in the industry including Frank Cho, Alex Ross, Joe Jusko, Guillem March and Adam Hughes. In addition, a cosplay photo cover of model Erica Fett is available. Fett has 2.3 million followers on Instagram.\r\n
